Ulisses Alexandre Garcia Lopes

Ulisses Garcia began his youth football education at Servette FC before transferring to the Grasshopper Club Zürich academy in 2011.

He spent three critical years at Grasshoppers developing his physical attributes and technical skills as a wide defender before making his move into the senior professional ranks.

Ulisses Garcia's professional career officially launched with Grasshopper Club Zürich, where he made his Swiss Super League debut in 2014. His early promise as an athletic left-back attracted the attention of German Bundesliga side SV Werder Bremen, who secured his signature in 2015. During his time in Germany, he gained valuable experience, although he struggled to secure consistent starting minutes, leading to a brief loan spell at 1. FC Nürnberg in 2018.

Seeking a return to regular first-team football, Garcia transferred to Swiss giants BSC Young Boys in the summer of 2018. In Bern, he completely revitalized his career, becoming an undisputed starter and a vital component of the team's incredible domestic success.
