Habib Wahid completed his primary and secondary education at South Breeze School in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, before briefly attending Radiant International School.

To pursue his passion for sound production, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 1999 to study at the prestigious School of Audio Engineering in London, where he mastered modern electronic music production.

Habib Wahid's professional musical journey began in the early 2000s while he was studying audio engineering in the United Kingdom. He recognized an untapped opportunity to modernize traditional Bengali folk songs using advanced electronic production techniques. Collaborating with a UK-based singer named Kaya, he meticulously produced his groundbreaking debut album, "Krishno," in 2003.

The release of "Krishno" was an unprecedented cultural phenomenon in Bangladesh. The album's massive success shattered existing musical conventions and introduced a highly infectious fusion of folk and modern pop. Following this triumph, Habib released successful follow-up albums like "Maya" and "Moina Go," where he officially debuted his own vocal capabilities alongside his production work.

Throughout the late 2000s and 2010s, Habib dominated the Bangladeshi music charts with continuous hit releases. He became a highly sought-after music director for mainstream cinema, composing unforgettable soundtracks for films such as "Hridoyer Kotha" and "Projapoti." His cinematic contributions earned him significant critical acclaim, including the prestigious Bangladesh National Film Award.

Habib Wahid was born into a highly influential musical family in Dhaka; his father is the renowned Bangladeshi pop singer Ferdous Wahid, and his mother is Roksana Wahid. Growing up in this creative environment profoundly shaped his artistic sensibilities and career aspirations.

His personal life has been a subject of considerable public interest over the years. He was briefly married to Lubyana in 2003. In 2011, he married Rehana Chowdhury, with whom he shares a son named Alim Wahid, before the couple divorced in 2017.

In January 2021, Habib found love again and married Afsana Chowdhury Shifa. The couple joyfully welcomed a son, Ayaat, later that same year. Despite his high-profile celebrity status, Habib strives to maintain a balanced personal life, frequently enjoying private time with his family.
