Yusuf Abdurisag

Yusuf Abdurisag developed his foundational footballing skills within the youth setup of Al-Sadd SC, one of Qatar's most prestigious academies. The environment allowed him to refine his raw speed into purposeful attacking runs, focusing heavily on wing-play mechanics and crossing accuracy. This rigorous early education provided him with the necessary tools to break into professional football.

Yusuf Abdurisag made his initial breakthrough into senior football with Al-Sadd SC, making his professional debut during the 2018–2019 season. Breaking into a star-studded attacking lineup was challenging, but his sheer pace made him an effective substitute late in matches. He gained early experience playing alongside established internationals, which significantly aided his tactical development.

To ensure consistent playing time and further his growth, he spent a productive season on loan with Al-Arabi SC in 2019–2020. During this period, he demonstrated his ability to perform consistently at the highest domestic level, contributing important goals and assists. His direct running style caused numerous problems for opposition full-backs across the Qatar Stars League.

Returning to Al-Sadd, he contributed as a squad rotation player during their dominant title-winning campaigns. However, seeking to solidify a regular starting position, he secured a loan move to Al-Wakrah SC ahead of the 2025–2026 season. At Al-Wakrah, he operates as a primary attacking outlet, utilizing his transition speed to launch devastating counter-attacks in tight league fixtures.

On the international front, Yusuf debuted for the Qatar senior team in late 2019. He was part of the squad that participated in the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup and also traveled with the team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. His ability to change the pace of a game makes him an ideal tactical weapon for international tournaments.

Heading into the latter half of 2026, Yusuf's role at Al-Wakrah keeps him heavily involved in high-stakes matches.
