Yousef Hassan developed his fundamental goalkeeping skills within the youth system of Al-Gharafa SC. Yousef Hassan began his senior professional career with Al-Gharafa SC, breaking into the first team during the mid-2010s. Establishing himself as a starting goalkeeper in a highly competitive league required patience, but his consistent performances in domestic cup competitions eventually earned him the number one jersey. Over his long tenure at the club, he became a fan favorite and a trusted leader.

During his time at Al-Gharafa, Yousef experienced significant domestic success. He was instrumental in helping the team secure back-to-back QSL Cup victories in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons. On the international stage, Yousef Hassan boasts an impressive pedigree. After winning the AFC U19 Championship with the Qatar youth squad in 2014, he transitioned to the senior national team. He earned multiple caps and was famously part of the historic squad that captured the 2019 AFC Asian Cup in the United Arab Emirates, serving as a reliable backup option.

Heading deep into 2026, Yousef continues to compete at the highest level of Qatari football with Al-Arabi SC. His vast experience from winning championships and playing international football continues to benefit his teammates, making him one of the most respected goalkeeping veterans in the region.
