Tyler Adams began his illustrious career in the New York Red Bulls academy, joining their Regional Development School at the age of 12. His immense talent saw him rapidly progress through the ranks, making his professional debut for New York Red Bulls II in 2015. By 2017, he had firmly established himself in the senior Red Bulls squad, playing a pivotal role in helping the club secure the 2018 MLS Supporters' Shield.

In January 2019, Adams completed a highly anticipated transfer to German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. He quickly adapted to the intense tactical demands of European football, becoming a regular starter in the midfield. His crowning moment in Germany came in August 2020, when he scored the winning goal in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Atletico Madrid, propelling Leipzig to a historic semifinal appearance.

He is deeply invested in his local community, serving as a co-owner of the Hudson Valley Hammers in USL League Two. In a beautiful testament to his local legacy, the local recreational facility where he first learned the game was officially rededicated as the 'Tyler Adams Soccer Pitch.'

Adams is happily married to his longtime partner, Sarah Schmidt, and the couple shares a young son named Jax. Despite the intense pressure of playing in the Premier League and captaining his country, he maintains a grounded family life in England.
