Mohammed Muntari developed his early footballing skills at the Golden Lions Soccer Academy in Ghana, an institution owned by former Ghanaian international Nii Lamptey. Mohammed Muntari's professional career launched when he moved to Qatar in 2012 to join El Jaish SC.
