Máximo Perrone honed his skills at the Vélez Sarsfield youth academy from 2009 to 2022, a system renowned for producing tactically disciplined and technically gifted midfielders.

Máximo Perrone began his professional football journey at Vélez Sarsfield, quickly progressing through the youth ranks to make his senior debut in March 2022. He instantly impressed the coaching staff with his maturity, tactical awareness, and ability to control the midfield tempo. Later that year, he scored his first senior goal in the Copa Libertadores, a crucial stoppage-time winner against Nacional. This standout performance in South America's premier club competition made him a highly visible prospect.

In January 2023, his exceptional domestic form earned him a blockbuster transfer to reigning Premier League champions Manchester City. Joining Pep Guardiola's star-studded squad provided an incredible learning environment, and he made his Premier League debut shortly after arriving. However, recognizing the need for consistent playing time, City strategically sent him on a season-long loan to Las Palmas in Spain's La Liga for the 2023-2024 campaign.

His time in Spain allowed him to adapt to the technical demands of European football, as he became a regular fixture in the Las Palmas midfield. For the 2024-2025 season, he embarked on another loan spell, this time moving to Italy to join newly promoted Como 1907 in Serie A.

On the international stage, Perrone has represented Argentina at the U-16 and U-20 levels, participating in the 2023 South American U-20 Championship. He received his first senior call-up from Lionel Scaloni in early 2023, officially making his debut in late 2025.
