Marco Asensio completed his primary and secondary schooling in Palma de Mallorca while balancing his early athletic career. He successfully graduated through the specialized sports academy program of RCD Mallorca in 2014.

Marco Asensio began his professional development within the youth ranks of local club RCD Mallorca, making his senior debut in 2013.
