His versatility allows him to cover various midfield positions during congested fixture schedules and AFC Champions League campaigns.

Internationally, Hashim Ali has a rich history with the Qatari youth setups, representing the U19, U20, U21, and U23 squads. His impressive performances at the youth level eventually earned him call-ups to the senior Qatar national team.
