Farzana Yasmin Ananna

Farzana Yasmin Ananna completed her early education at Daud Public College in Jessore. She then pursued higher education at the prestigious University of Dhaka, where she specialized in Women and Gender Studies, fueling her passion for social advocacy.

Farzana Yasmin Ananna officially entered the competitive world of pageantry by participating in the Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 competition. Despite her lack of prior professional modeling experience, her natural charisma and intellect earned her the title of first runner-up. Additionally, she was awarded the Miss Congeniality title, reflecting her positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Following her initial pageant success, she spent the next few years focusing on her education and extensive social work. Her dedication to community service significantly strengthened her profile as a holistic and purpose-driven beauty queen. This period of grassroots activism prepared her for larger, more impactful platforms.

In 2023, Farzana achieved a major milestone by winning the title of Miss International Bangladesh. This victory was particularly historic, as it granted her the opportunity to be the first-ever representative from Bangladesh at the 61st Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan. She proudly showcased Bangladeshi culture, including a traditional Boishakh-themed national costume, to a global audience.

Building on her international experience, Farzana was selected to represent her country at the inaugural Miss Cosmo 2024 pageant held in Vietnam. She delivered an outstanding performance, finishing in the Top 21 and securing a spot in the Top 8 of the Green Summit segment. This marked the highest placement for a Bangladeshi in a major global beauty pageant to date.

Looking ahead in 2026, Farzana continues to work as a prominent model while actively pursuing her ultimate dream of becoming a diplomat. She utilizes her pageant titles to advocate for women's empowerment and promote the rich heritage of Bangladesh worldwide.

Farzana Yasmin Ananna was born and raised in Jessore, a district in the Khulna division of Bangladesh. From a young age, she was an avid performer, regularly participating as a dancer in school and college cultural events. She has always enjoyed being in the spotlight, which naturally translated into her future modeling career.

She is highly regarded for her extensive philanthropic work, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ananna personally delivered food and essential relief to over four hundred struggling families and supported around 700 unemployed individuals in her home district. She even isolated herself from her family to safely continue her frontline volunteer work.

In addition to pandemic relief, she has organized teams of university students to assist victims of the devastating Sylhet and Khulna floods. Ananna cites Malala Yousafzai as a major inspiration for her advocacy and dreams of utilizing her platform to foster long-term women's empowerment in Bangladesh.
